Fun-Sewing
Sewing is a fun.This is all about practice.If you know the basics of sewing,its very easy to make your own dresses. Even you can sew somebody else dress as well.Here are some simple steps to sew your own dress.
Step:1
First of all we have to choose cloth to make a dress. Buy a cloth from your fabric store.You can buy it from any store or online like www.amazon.com and www.ebay.com.
Step:2
Rinse the cloth before you cut.If you cut the cloth without rinsing,it will not properly fit, It will loose or narrow not fitted,as you like.
Step:3
Iron the whole cloth to remove wrinkles.Ironing is very important in sewing. If you do not iron the cloth before cutting,it is difficult to take measurements accurately.
Step:4
After that we have to take measurements.1:Full length of shirt/dress
2:Bottom width of shirt
3:Measure shoulders
4:Then bust
5:Then waist
6:Measure hips
7:Sleeves length
8:Armhole

Step:5
The next step is cutting.Layout your pattern on fabric and mark the measurements with chalk on your fabric and start cutting.You can also buy patterns from www.simplicity.com and www.burdastyle.com or your nearest store.
Step:6
The last step is Sewing.Now start sewing as directed on pattern which you bought or according to your own pattern.
